Production records, not demonstrations
The live portal constructs each displayed vacancy from a response returned by an attributed government source, employer feed or permitted public API. Automated-test fixtures exist only in the isolated test suite and are not loaded by the production application.
The minimum publication gate
A record is displayed only when all of these checks pass:
- the title, employer and location fields are present;
- the source and application addresses are valid HTTP or HTTPS links;
- a published closing date has not passed;
- a published posting date is valid and is not in the future; and
- the record is not a duplicate of another current result.
What Pathway4U adds
Pathway4U does not present a raw feed as original editorial reporting. It attributes the source, shows a short advert excerpt, extracts practical fields such as closing date and workplace, and separately labels whether the advert itself states international hiring, sponsorship or relocation. If the wording is absent, the portal says “not stated” instead of guessing.
External job boards are not imported
Bayt, NaukriGulf, GulfTalent and Indeed are destination-specific outbound search shortcuts. Their names identify the service that will open. Their listings are not copied or represented as Pathway4U records without an approved API, syndication licence or partner feed. Their trademarks and listing content remain the property of their respective owners.
Freshness and cache limits
Normal job responses are cached for up to five minutes to protect upstream services and keep the page responsive. Empty checks are cached for one minute. If a source times out, a clearly labelled cached response may be shown for no more than 30 minutes, and the closing-date gate is run again before that response reaches the browser.
Corrections, rights and removals
Employers, publishers and rights holders may request correction or removal by writing to corrections@pathway4u.com with the source address and reason. Pathway4U will remove a record that is expired, misattributed, unlawfully reproduced or no longer available from its source. Applications always take place on the attributed source or employer page.
A vacancy can change after retrieval. The employer advert remains the controlling source for duties, eligibility, salary and deadline.
